This country has lost one of the best ex-presidents of our time. How he performed in the presidency can be debated, but it is work since then that really showed who he was. He let the light of God shine through him in a way that few people have. For me, this essay by Robert Fulghum from his book Uh-Oh really captures Jimmy Carter’s spirit and I have re-read it through the years.
